Beaver Falls Cleanup - Portco and Solve Oregon!

Beaver-Falls-Header.jpg

Indeed there are many "good causes" out there and one can spend endless energy helping to take care of one's community and environment. Solve Oregon is one such organization that organizes clean-up efforts (trash removal) from so many different, beautiful places around the State of Oregon. Portco was a sponsor this year in a very successful clean-up effort out at Beaver Creek, an important tributary to the Columbia River. The clean-up event was held on Saturday, October 6th at the Beaver Falls Recreation Area and Trailhead. Check out the stats on what was removed!

O.K., that's a lot of junk for this volunteer crew, made up of Portco employees and their friends and families. Bravo! And while you'll likely see the slogan on the red shirts given out by Portco to all who volunteered at the October 6th event, here's an image to clarify further:  Now, enjoy the photos below to see some of the action. And be sure to explore the Solve Oregon website for other events where you might get involved. If we all do our part, well, we'll keep Oregon (and other places) green and clean!

Solve Oregon is a great, non-profit organization that (as noted above) works hard to keep Oregon green and clean. Check out all of their important events via the link below and perhaps get your own company or organization involved in its own clean-up effort!Solve Oregon Website
