The FDA and the Changing Nutrition Facts Label

In May of 2016 the FDA announced upcoming changes to the Nutrition Facts label for packaged foods. To be reflected in the new label requirements is "new scientific information, including the link between diet and chronic diseases such as obesity and heart disease." (source: FDA.gov) No doubt, the new label information will help consumers to be more informed in their food buying decisions.
